Share your disappointment in the aged care budget

Tweet the Prime Minister and Treasurer!

The Budget fails women working in aged care. It gave an illusion of action on the aged care crisis but failed to address fundamental issues in the sector.

Aged care workers like you wanted to see low pay and insecure working conditions addressed and were deeply disappointed!

The sector is in crisis and older Australians cannot afford to wait up to two years for more care time.

The $3.2 billion for providers came with no strings attached and therefore no guarantee it will go to actual care for older Australians.

The Morrison Government has ignored crucial recommendations by the Royal Commission and gave us a budget that is too little and too late.

These were just some of the Government’s budget failings – we’ve had enough and will take our frustrations and demands to Twitter!
