It’s important that your union is able to contact you and keep you informed about important updates for your industry and workplace. If you move house, change email or phone, you can update these details using any of the following methods:

You can determine the ideal frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) and day of week for your union fees to be deducted. You may also need to change or update the bank account details or card number. Please use the following options:

Your role, type/hours of work, employer and worksite are all important to your union so that we can ensure you are receiving the information and support that you need. We can also make sure you are paying the correct fees. You can update your details using one of the following methods:

If you have moved to a new job, that may still be covered by UWU so it is best to give us full details and we can advise you from there.

If you are currently unemployed, you can remain a union member and access your union benefits while you find a new job. We can even provide you advice if you have a new job offer/contract. All you need to do is get in touch using one of the following methods:

Yes. While you are still working and until you receive all of your accrued entitlements, you should remain a member of your union. You can continue to stand with your fellow members, have your say in regard to working conditions and agreements. You also have access to union support if you are not paid your entitlements correctly.
